Making my mandarin jacket "fall appropriate"

Enma:

"I'm so loving my hair these days. I've been playing around with it and it's so liberating. I recently changed my hair color to something more "fall appropriate." Burgundy is one of my favorite fall colors so I knew that was what I wanted to do. I colored it myself and I think it came out quite well. It was an instant hit.

After changing my hair color I got bored again and decided to do something different. So I used burgundy marley hair extensions to create this hairstyle. Next was finding the perfect outfit to go with it. When I envisioned this outfit with my hairstyle I knew it had to be the one.

I wore this mandarin jacket in a previous post as a short dress a few months ago (see Lulu and I). I promised in that post that I'd wear it again in a different season. So here I am fulfilling my promise.

To make it fall appropriate I paired it with leopard print black tights. I accessorized with a leopard head ring, leopard wrist cuff and these leopard Bellini shoes from DSW - I absolutely love them! They are the perfect fall shoes and so comfy.

For my makeup (and nails) - I chose metallic sky blue for my eyelids and nails because I wanted something that would catch one of the colors on my jacket. I was also craving a monochrome look so I went with burgundy/maroon lips (14 BlackBerry Sorbet lipstain from Sephora collection) to match my hair and jacket. This look kinda reminds me of my outfit from "The King and I" post.

What do you think about the way I wore my mandarin jacket? Do you prefer it to the previous look? I'll be wearing it a third time so watch out!"
