Wearing my kente outfit with jigida

Enma:

"Kente is a popular Ghanian print with vibrant colors. There are slightly different versions of it, but what I have on is the most common version.

Jigida is a string of waist beads worn by African women. Most ladies wear them at their traditional weddings and they wear as many as five strings. It is also worn by African dancers. I'm wearing two strings of jigida in some of the pictures below.

Now that I've given you some background information, I'm sure you can tell I was feeling very African with this outfit. Even my earrings are ankara (african print).

I only wish I had ankara print shoes. Ideas anyone?"
