What I wore for my 50s themed bridal shower

Bloggie:

If you're a regular reader, you know I have a love affair with all things retro. So when it was time to plan my bridal shower back in August, I knew it had to be 50s themed. There was no way I was gonna pass up on an opportunity to get all dressed up in a puffy dress and twirl away :)

Bringing this look to life was so much fun! I got this cute gingham dress, petticoat, sunglasses, head scarf from Unique Vintage - my latest obsession. They have prettiest, I mean PRETTIEST outfits. I actually browse their site when I'm in a bad mood to lift my spirits lol. These adorable floral earrings, bracelet, and ring are from trusty Bauble Bar, heels are Vivienne Westwood Melissa (aren't they lovely?!) and finally this lovely clutch was gifted to me by BFF-of-life bridal-shower-planner-extraordinaire Enma (Yep, she planned it all! She brought the theme to life in the most colorful way). I styled my hair myself and my makeup was by ridiculously talented Keanda.

As you can probably tell from these pics, I adored this entire look. I felt oh so pretty :).....my gorgeous sis also helped plan the shower (love you sis!!) and turned up in a gorgeous Unique Vintage dress looking absolutely stunning. Yep, it was a magical day and it brought out the girliness in all of us!
