Exploring Singapore in a gorgeous ankara midi skirt

I visited the amazing city of Singapore back in September. Lush greenery and sprawling city all at the same time. A perfect juxtaposition of colonial and modern architecture. Case in point, beautiful colonial Raffles hotel explored in the pictures below, it's slap bang in the middle of skyscrapers and modern buildings. I visited and experienced so much in less than a week! Singapore definitely gets a thumbs up from me.....if you'll like to hear more of my trip, drop a note in the comments :)

I wore this ensemble on my second day of exploring. Perfect for a hot and extremely humid day. This cute ruffled crop top from asos (i think! can't remember anymore) and this high waisted midi ankara print skirt from my ankara fairy-godmother (of course!).

Love, love, LOVE this skirt. It can be dressed up, down, sideways, you name it! And it has pockets too! I felt oh so cool and comfy all day. My hair was semi blown out but I added two lil clip-ins to take the volume to a ginormous level ;)....then added a cute rose hair clip to my hair...because I was on vacation damnit! lol Topped everything off with comfy zebra print sandals and my trusty Cambridge Satchel Company satchel. It was a good day!

P.S. Keep a look out for how I make this ankara skirt work for winter ;)
