Blazers, skirts and more!

Enma:

"Oh Fall! I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love Fall. And what's not to love on this nice sunny Fall day. I'm wearing one of my favorite blazers which I bought last year at a random boutique. For some reason, I was reminded of Ankara when I first saw it but now I'm not so sure. I still love it though. I love the color and pattern. It is perfect for work, church and any semi formal outing.

On a separate note, I love finding different ways to wear my pieces. This is why I have more bottoms/tops than dresses. I previously wore this skirt with a plaid shirt, different hair style, makeup etc. It is now a completely different look! Step outside your comfort zone and purchase a bottom and a top and face the challenge. Find multiple ways to wear them. I'm not saying you can't do the same with a dress but it's not as fun.

Actually, as I write this it occurred to me that it is actually challenging to wear a dress in different ways but that's when a bottom, top or blazer comes into the picture. Depending on the sleeves of the dress, you can wear a top or shirt inside it. The obvious option is to wear a blazer on top of the dress. The least obvious option is wearing the dress with bottoms (depending on the length and style of the dress). You can either tuck it into a bottom or not. I've always worn my really short dresses with tights or tucked them into skirts. I never thought to let them fall over skirts until my  good friend and stylist did so on her blog, zinkata.com - check it out! Anyway, you get the gist. I just realized I've gone off topic. At least I think I have. Alright, I'm done."
