Wearing an embroidered piece for fall

"Remember this embroidered gift from my mum? I wore it in the summer and blogged about it. It's a complicated piece with a complicated story. It was an incomplete outfit when my mum gave it to me, but I made the best out of it. I found different ways to wear it in spite of it not being an actual dress. 

I knew it would compliment my hair, so I decided to wear it on this rainy fall day. To make it appropriate for the weather, I wore tights, booties, and a black dress underneath it. Yup! That's a dress, not a bra, sticking out from my chest area. If you look closely, you'll notice the black dress above my knee too. It's okay though - the dress is supposed to be visible.

I added some flavor to my look by wearing a beaded hair band and fancy earrings.

What I love about this outfit is the atmosphere. We had just experienced some heavy rain when I took these pictures. That explains the faded leaves sticking to the wet ground. I don't know why, but I think it worked with my outfit."
