Flashback to wearing this colourful ankara maxi skirt in Fall

Bloggie:

We've had a surprisingly mild Fall this year and I ain't complaining! Usually, at this time of the year, I'm scuttling around the city in my parka, zipped to the mouth, hoodie up, feet buried in my thickest boots and wondering why I haven't moved to somewhere with palm trees and margaritas! lol....sadly, it's gotten colder these past few weeks but still not as bad as it could have been.

Anyway, on this lovely mild Fall day, I was determined to wear this gorgeous ankara maxi shirt gifted to me by ankara fairy godmother (yes, I should be ashamed for accepting so much stuff!! She's so wonderful, I don't deserve her!!). I thought to myself 'how do I transition such a vibrant print to Fall?'....well, with a high-necked black sleeveless top, a leather jacket and some sensible heels that's how ;) I was having one of those I-have-no-idea-what-to-do-with-my-hair days so I put it up in a bun and tied a colourful scarf round it. Done! Fall appropriate but still vibrant! No bad, huh? ;)

P.S. Weirdly enough, Enma styled a maxi skirt ankara look a few weeks later with no input from myself. Like I always say, great fashionista minds think alike! hehehe
