"When I wore this outfit my sister told me that it reminded her of the outfits/costumes worn by the children from the movie, The King And I. I can understand that considering the fact that on my trip a lot of people mistook my bun for some sort of cap/hat ;)
The top and pants didn't actually come together but I knew they were meant for each other when I first laid eyes on them. This outfit inspired my matching hair and lipstick which ultimately gave my look a monochrome feel.
This was one of those outfits where I couldn't decide on which accessories to wear (in this instance it was my necklace and shoes). I kept switching back and forth because I thought each item went perfectly with the outfit. Have you ever had one of those moments? Whenever I face such a silly dilemma, I take pictures of myself wearing all my options and I carefully examine each picture and make a decision. Obviously, this is only practical if you have all the time in the world - which was the case for me since I was on vacation.
