The cross of Jesus Christ
Enma:
"I recently broke my cross ring and I feel like my heart broke with it. If you're a regular reader then you know that I wore it all the time. In fact, since 2013 -which is when I bought it -, it only left my finger when I was asleep or in the shower.
The ring is so special to me because it reminds me of my faith and the center of our world, Jesus Christ. I know I talk about my faith a lot, but I feel the need to do so, especially when I think about the times we live in. I know some folks might find the mention of the name of Jesus uncomfortable or even offensive, but I have to talk about Jesus when I feel implored to do so.
Anyway, I realized that it's okay that my cross ring broke. The most important thing is that I wear the cross on my heart and not my fingers. At the end, actions speak louder than words. If I don't back my words by my actions then I'm deceiving myself. I'm not perfect but I pray to do better.
If you're reading this and you're not saved, I hope and pray that you'll consider getting to know Jesus. You have nothing to lose but much to gain. You can approach the New Testament like it's a history lesson. Start with the gospel according to Matthew and let me know what you think.
Even though, I accepted the fact that my ring broke, I tried to fix it with krazy glue. As you can see from the picture below, I did a sloppy job. I proceeded to search for a replacement. I found one but it's nothing like what I had before. I'll have to manage it for now.
I'm wearing Sinful Colors' Out of This World and Midnight Blue. I love love this shade of blue."
