Why a Long Bomber Jacket And This Wall

You can always tell when I love an outfit based on the amount of pictures I have - which happens a lot, lol. Today's post obviously falls into that category. I've written a post in the past about bomber jackets and how they were so popular in the 80s. This fall, we're seeing a slightly longer version of bomber jackets in stores. It makes sense when you consider that over sized jackets are in.

I'm just going to come out and say it. I prefer long bomber jackets to the regular sized ones. Here are a couple of reasons why.

1. It's refreshingly different from the bomber jackets we're used to. In the 80s bomber jackets were usually waist length. This fall we have hip length bomber jackets. It's different and I like different. I know in a matter of time long bomber jackets won't be so different, but until then I'll be enjoying it.

2. it's slimming. Regular length bomber jackets have the tendency to poof a person up. If you have full thighs like I do then you probably feel you look heavier when you have on a top that's a bit rounded. That's why I love long bomber jackets. It elongates a person's stature because the band rests on the hips.

I paired my long bomber jacket with my embroidered combat boots by Diba @ DSW. I had no doubt that it would go well with my jacket.  As for this wall . . . her, what can I say? You gotta love it!

Try this look this fall. It rocks.
