The droopy one shoulder dress

I'll be honest. I didn't know how to start this post. I tried to come up with an inspiration, fashion and style tip but I was drawing blanks. I thought about making this post about my accessories - but nothing. Then it hit me! The dress speaks for itself. What do you write when a dress speaks for itself? You write about its awesomeness!

I''m somewhat ashamed to say that I don't know what this style of dress is called. I know it's been in and out of the fashion game in different eras, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out what it's called. Even google didn't help. So I decided to name it and came up with the droopy one shoulder dress.. I was going to add "pencil" before dress but decided it was too wordy.

What can I say about the droopy one shoulder dress except that it's elegant and chic. There's something sophisticated about the subtle way one shoulder peeks out. If this dress had a personality I'd say it's "shyly sexy."

It's also quite flattering. I can't imagine anyone not being able to pull this dress off. I think this is one of the few dresses made to fit different body types.

I wish I could point you to where you can get one of these but I got mine years ago and I'm pretty sure the store doesn't carry it anymore. Perhaps this post will encourage you to keep your eyes open for this. Or maybe people would search hard enough for it that stores/designers would begin to notice there's a demand but no supply.
